Ronak is an ex-student researcher at the Center for Excellence of Youth (CEY) program at IBM TJ Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights, New York. Enrolled at UC Berkeley Management, Entrepreneurship, & Technology (M.E.T.) Innovation Academy (June 2024 to July 2024) and current Columbia University Science Honors Program student (Sept 2023 to May 2025).

Ronak is an athlete at heart with a deep passion for Soccer and Tae Kwon Do. 4-year varsity soccer player at Walter Panas and 5-year club player at FC Somers (a North Atlantic Conference Premier 1 team). As a soccer player himself, Ronak has seen his teammates getting injured on the field, going to ERs, waiting for a long time to be seen by doctors, and eventually getting MRI scans done after a few days, which inspired him to develop the sprAIndetection application.
